Convenient. Secure. Fast

Our Electronic Tax Notice (eBill) allows you to access your tax bill through a secure link that is sent to you by email. Any property owner can register to receive an eBill notice. After you register for eBill notification, the eBill will replace the paper bill you currently receive in the mail.

What are the advantages of receiving an eBill?

  • Receive your tax notices faster and eliminate concerns over lost mail.
  • Link directly to online payment options.
  • View the same billing information that you would receive in the mail via our secure website.
  • Download and save your bill for your records.
  • Save time, money and tax dollars associated with the production and mailing of traditional tax bills.
  • Be friendly to the environment by saving paper and reducing waste.

Once you sign up:

  • The bills are sent by EbillTax@leoncountyfl.gov.  Adding this email to your address book or changing your spam filters will assist in ensuring delivery.  If the email is returned as undeliverable, you will receive a paper tax bill by postal mail.
  • If you change your email address, you must update your account with your new address.
  • If you wish to return to paper billing, login to your account and unsubscribe.

After your initial registration, each year you will receive an email prior to the tax mailing deadline to confirm your email address and requiring you to re-authorize eBill notification.  If the email is returned as undeliverable, you will receive a paper tax bill by postal mail.

Electronic Property Tax Notices are considered to be delivered when the notice is successfully transmitted to the email address on file with the Tax Collector’s Office.  If a response to the e-notice indicates that the notice was returned as undeliverable, a hard copy of the tax notice will be mailed to the U.S. Postal mailing address on file with the Leon County Property Appraiser’s office.   As specified by Florida law, the original electronic transmission is the official mailing of the Tax Notice and a discount period will not be extended due to the electronic Tax Notice being unopened or returned.
